Susan, a native of upstate NY, has lived in Philadelphia for over 25 years.
She has worked much of that time as a Chaplain at many of the area’s colleges and universities.
Providing guidance and support to all members within those communities has given her a deep sense of the importance of ritual, and celebration, most especially in a time of loss.
Close to her heart, is Susan’s interfaith work developing language and ceremony in honoring all of life’s passages. Many families have been touched by her compassion and an ease she has with helping them through the process of memorializing their loved one.
Susan, we could not have been happier with the service you crafted for our father. You were the perfect person to work with our family. You were just what we needed.
Your prayer for us was answered – it was a wonderful day.
Many people have told us that it was the best memorial service they have ever attended. Personally, I will remember it for a very long time . . . It rests in my memory in sepia tones and surrounded by beams of light! Thank you so much!
